• USA Hockey rules will be followed, especially the Zero Tolerance rule for players and spectators.
• This is a USA Hockey sanctioned tournament.
• Game Time = 12, 12 and 15 minute stop time periods (standard minor and major penalties) for 14U, 16U and 19U.  12, 12 and 12 minute stop time periods (and minor penalties of 1:30, major penalties of 3:00) for 12U.
• Time Outs - One 30 second time out per team. May be used at any time unless game is affected by the curfew rule.
• Three (3) minute warm-up from designated ice slot start time.
• Curfew Rule may be imposed if game runs beyond allotted time slot.
• NO Mercy Rule
• Point System (See "Forfeits" below for exceptions):
  Win = 2 points.
  Tie = 1 point.
  Win period = 1 point per period.
  Tie period = ½ point per period.
  (Sum of points determines standings)
• Tie breaker for standings:
  1st. Head-to-head game results.
  2nd. Total points per point system in head-to-head games.
  3rd. Fewest goals against in all games.
  4th. Fewest penalty minutes in all games.
  5th. A coin toss.
• CONSOLATION Games are allowed to end in a tie.
• In CHAMPIONSHIP or PLAY OFF Games, the point system is eliminated. Head-to-head game results determine the winner.
• In the event of a Tie (at the end of the 3rd period) in a CHAMPIONSHIP or PLAY OFF Game, the following will apply:
  1st. 4 on 4 for 5 minutes, changes on the fly only, no changes during time stoppages.  If still tied at the end of 5 minutes then;
  2nd. 3 on 3 for 5 minutes, changes on the fly only, no changes during time stoppages.  If still tied at the end of 5 minutes then;
  3rd. Sudden death shoot out, alternate shooters with first player from away team followed by first player from home team. Go through rosters until someone wins.
• Seeding or Round Robin play will be based on the number of teams entered.
• FORFEITS:
  - In the event that one team is present and ready to play at the scheduled game time and the opposing team is not, the team that is present and ready to play will be awarded a win with four (4) total points. The forfeiting team will be awarded a loss with zero (0) total points. 
  - If neither team is present and ready to play, both teams will be awarded a loss with zero (0) total points.
• Interpretation and enforcement of rules is at the discretion of the Tournament Chairperson or other designated person.

At Sign In, before your first game:  Team Coaches will be required to submit the names of players who will participate in the Skills Competition. Two for the Speed Relay, two for Stick Handling, two for Shooting and one Goalie. Players may enter only one event.
