GENERIC DIRECTIONS

  1. Take I-83 to Exit #18 (old Exit#7), Mt. Rose Avenue/Prospect Rd., Rt. 124, just south of York.
       Southbound: Come up exit ramp and bear to the Right, through the yield sign onto Mt. Rose Ave. / Rt. 124 West. 
       Northbound: Come up exit ramp and make a LEFT onto Mt. Rose Ave. / Rt. 124 West.
  2. Go 1.6 miles West on Mount Rose Ave./Rt-124 and at the 4th traffic light keep going straight as Mount Rose Ave./Rt-124 ends and Prospect Street begins.  Past the 4th traffic light, and along this street you will pass all of the following: a small shopping center on the right with a Giant Food store, a Hardee's, and then Joe's Pizzeria on the Right after having traveled a little over 1 mile total, and finally the Gaslight Tavern on your Right. After you pass the Tavern, go one more block, and Vander Ave. will be the next street. On the right (at Vander Ave.) is Darrah's Auto and Truck Sales. 
  3. Turn Left onto Vander Avenue and proceed approximately 1 mile to the Twin Ice Rinks on the Left at the end of Vander Ave, just past York Catholic High School.

    (Caution: after proceeding 1 block on Vander you will come to a stop sign (4-way) at the intersection of Vander and Boundary Ave; proceed slowly through this intersection, as it dips significantly as you go through and there is a real potential for your car to bottom out and be damaged while going through if you don't go slow). Parking is to the left of the rink.

Alternate Step 2. A second option is to turn Left at the 3rd traffic light and make an almost immediate Right hand turn onto Boundry Ave. There is a Glen-Gery brick company on your Left, just after you turn onto Boundry Ave. Stay on Boundry Ave. until you come to the 4-way stop sign at Vander Ave. Turn Left onto Vander Ave. and follow the directions above to the ice rink on the left at the end of Vander Ave.

As an alternative, you can take the PA Turnpike West to I-83 South, in Harrisburg, and Pick up Generic Directions above. -or- 
  • Take the PA Turnpike (I-76) west to Exit 21 (Reading Exit)
  • Follow US-222 South to Lancaster, where you will take US-30 West towards York
  • Before entering York, turn left onto North Hills Road and continue about 3/4 mile
  • Follow signs to I-83 South. Take I-83 South to Exit 18 (Mount Rose Avenue)
  • Turn right onto PA-124 West
  • At 4th light keep going straight as PA-124 ends and Prospect Street begins
    Turn left on Vander Avenue (5th street on the left)
    Rink is on left at the end of Vander Avenue.

I-76 PA Turnpike to Exit 242, I-83 south, continue approximately 20 miles to Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue. At the exit traffic light, turn left onto Mount Rose Avenue (Route 124 east). Proceed east for 1 mile to the resort located on the right.

I-83 South to Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue At the exit, turn left onto Mount Rose Avenue (Route 124 east). Proceed east for 1 mile to the resort located on the right.

 I-83 North to Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue Off the exit bear to the right and proceed east for 1 mile to the resort located on the right.

Route 30 East or West to I-83 South. Follow I-83 south to Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue. At the exit traffic light, turn left onto Mount Rose Avenue (Route 124 east). Proceed east for 1 mile to the resort located on the right.

Route 30 West to Mount Zion Road exit (Route 24 South/East). Turn left at the traffic light, proceeding 2 miles to Route 124 west (7 traffic lights). Turn right onto Route 124 west and continue approximately 1/4 mile to the resort on the left.
