From New Haven:

(Starting from directions to Hilton Hartford, 315 Trumbull Street, Hartford, CT)
(From I-95 North Exit 48 junction with I-91 North (at New Haven).  ~12 miles, ~16 minutes)

Directions   FROM Danbury, CT   To Northford, CT
~56 miles, ~50 minutes

I- 95 North to Exit 48 / I-91 North to Hartford / New Haven  
I- 91 North.  On at 1, Off at 11. 10.0
At the end of the ramp go right onto SR-22 East.  
Take SR-22 East. (RR Tracks at 1.5 miles.) 2.5
The road to the rink will be on your left next to the Honeywell Fire Solutions Building, 2/10 of a mile past the "Welcome to Northford" sign.  (Before you get to the junction of SR-22, SR-17 and SR-150)  
OR  
Exit I-91 North via ramp at sign reading "Exit 12, US-5, Washington Avenue"  
Turn left on US-5, go under I-91, and make a left into the Holiday Inn North Haven parking lot.  (Note: There are a Large number of restaurants along US-5 in the vicinity.)
Stop at the hotel or continue
OR, Turn right onto US-5 South. 3.0
Left onto Rt-22 East. 2.4
